What the 7SI is
The Insurice 7SI is a point-of-use filtration system purpose-built for commercial ice machines, combining 0.5-micron Fibredyne depth filtration with a self-contained scale inhibitor. The 7SI designation marks the highest-capacity cartridge in the range, designed for large-volume cube and flake production. Fibredyne media traps particles progressively through the filter bed rather than at a single surface, giving far higher dirt-holding capacity than conventional carbon blocks, which means longer service intervals and steadier flow.
What it removes
At 0.5 micron the cartridge reduces sediment, fine particles, cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia, and chlorine taste and odour. The integrated inhibitor keeps hardness minerals from crystallising on evaporator plates, tubing and pump components, the failure path that kills most machines early.
Configurations and capacity
- Single: approximately 94,600 litres of rated capacity, for a single high-output cuber or flaker.
- Twin: approximately 189,200 litres, for larger or paired machines.
- Triple with pre-filter: approximately 284,000 litres, for the heaviest banqueting, healthcare and central-production loads.
