What the i4000 is
The Insurice i4000 is a multi-cartridge filtration system using three or four i4000 cartridges, each rated to roughly 45,400 litres (12,000 US gallons), mounted on a single manifold. The common Triple configuration delivers about 136,000 litres (36,000 gallons) of rated capacity per cartridge set at service flows of 5.0 to 6.7 gallons per minute, enough to feed cubers producing up to about 860 kg of ice per day and flakers up to about 1,590 kg per day.
Micro-Pure II filtration
Each cartridge filters to 0.5 micron using Everpure's Micro-Pure II precoat media, removing sediment, cysts and the chlorine compounds that flavour ice, while bacteriostatic properties inhibit microbial growth inside the cartridge between services. Built-in scale inhibition protects evaporator plates, distribution tubing and harvest components, the parts that fail first on untreated supply.
Triple or quad, i2000 or i4000
Choosing within the Insurice family is a throughput exercise. Machines and demand profiles below roughly 500 kg per day usually sit comfortably on the i2000 series; sustained higher outputs, multiple machines on one feed, or banqueting peaks justify the i4000 Triple, with the Quad reserved for the heaviest central production. Our survey counts machines, measures the water and sizes accordingly.
Installation and service intervals
The manifold mounts close to the machines with isolation and flush valves, so cartridge changes are clean and quick. Replacement runs on rated capacity against actual production, logged and managed inside our Comprehensive Maintenance plans. On Kuwait's blended building water we monitor pressure drop as the honest early-warning signal: a loaded cartridge announces itself long before the ice does.
